Experience

Marshall Hall joined Tomsche, Sonnesyn & Tomsche, P.A., as an associate attorney in 2023. Prior to joining the firm, Marshall served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General and as an Assistant District Attorney in Western New York. His legal experience includes representing clients through trials and administrative hearings, advising government agencies and municipalities, conducting investigations, and performing pro bono work for non-profit and small business organizations.

In addition, Marshall has received extensive training in digital forensics and digital evidence from the National Computer Forensics Institute, and has also earned the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) and Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) certifications. Because of Marshall’s background in and knowledge of technology, data privacy, and cybersecurity, he can offer comprehensive legal solutions in information security, data privacy compliance, incident-response, and cyber risk management.
